Introducing Earth: A Natural Green Onyx Sphere Urn for Ashes
We are proud to present Earth, a striking marble urn inspired by the rich, layered beauty of the natural world. With flowing bands of green, warm earth tones, and organic translucency, Earth symbolises grounding, renewal, and connection. It offers a distinctive and meaningful tribute for remembrance.
Colour & Finish:
Each Earth urn is crafted from natural green onyx, a stone known for its dramatic variation in colour and pattern. Tones can range from soft, translucent sage greens to deeper emerald hues, often interwoven with warm browns, creams, and occasional blush tones. Some pieces feature bold, banded layers, while others appear more clouded and fluid—making every urn entirely unique.
Due to the natural formation of onyx, this stone can contain small voids or cavities. In some cases, these are carefully filled during finishing to ensure the strength and integrity of the piece. We keep this to a minimum wherever possible, but it may be visible on close inspection and is a natural characteristic of the material.
Each urn is finished with a smooth, glossy, highly polished surface, enhancing the depth, translucency, and intricate detail of the stone.
If you have a preference for lighter, darker, or more green-toned pieces, you are welcome to leave a note with your order and we will do our very best to select a piece that suits your preference.
Featuring a watertight aluminium screw-in base, Earth is suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement, providing a secure and lasting tribute in any setting.
Please note that the urn weighs approximately 9kg, so once interred it will weigh between 12–13kg.
As each piece is individually handmade and carefully hollowed, slight imperfections may be present. These can include minor variations in tone, natural markings, small filled areas, or light surface marks from the carving process. These details are part of the material’s natural character and craftsmanship, allowing us to offer a beautiful, high-quality urn at an accessible price point.
Dimensions – 22.5cm high, 22.5cm diameter, approx. 3.0-3.2litre capacity (please note that the capacity will vary as each urn is hollowed by hand).
